Adaptive Challenge Consulting supports managers and leaders of companies, non-profits and other mid to large size organizations as they seek to address challenges they are aware of and also those hidden challenges . Our experts have deep understandings of human development and the ways in which that development impacts organizations. Our approach differs from many because we think of each organization as a living, interdependent ecology.

Adaptive Challenge Consulting takes a dynamic approach to leadership development, emotional intelligence growth, & diversity, equity and belonging training, using humor, humility, and wisdom.

Dr. Kellie Dixon, CLC (she/her)

Dr. Dixon brings significant experience in strategic planning, assessment, team effectiveness and staff professional development to the Adaptive Challenge Consulting team. She is passionate about amplifying student voices and translating their experiences. Dr. Dixon is also the host of Disruptive Narrative Radio Show via WDRBmedia and founder of Clear Pathway Consulting Services, LLC. In her spare time she loves all things Disney, watching sports, playing golf and traveling to places with great food.

Dr. Christy Walker (she/her)

Dr. Walker brings a unique focus to Adaptive Challenge Consulting as she helps leaders and their teams with effective goal setting. She thrives with groups that need to engage in getting complex ideas broken down into every-day action items. Dr. Walker has previously worked as a chemist and an engineer and is particularly strong at helping groups see their plans through implementation. When she's not helping organizations, she's going to football games, to watch the bands (she even has a book about bands)!

Chris Hegg (he/him)

Chris Hegg is a coach, consultant and entrepreneur specializing in career and leadership development. Chris founded and leads 2 organizations, Peak Outfitters and Peak Opportunity Coaching. He creates the space for professionals to clarify their goals, proudly own their talents, and take small but brave steps to evolve their lives and organizations. As a coach, Chris asks powerful questions. Outside of work, Chris loves paddleboarding, Yoga, rock climbing and skiing.

Tyshea Lewis
(she/her)

Tyshea Lewis is skilled at bringing a holistic lens to organizational success challenges. Most of Tyshea’s work is in educational spaces. She previously served as the Associate Director of the Guarantee Scholars Program at UNC Greensboro offers leadership development, career development, intercultural dialogue, community building, mentorship, and more. One of her favorite tools is a critical reflection and she uses it daily to encourage her students and staff alike. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and hosting friends and family, watching true crime documentaries, and designing journals.

M. Anthony Brumfield II (he/him)

Anthony Brumfield distinctive combination of a higher education master's degree, hands-on experience in academia, leadership roles, teaching, organizational development, business, and a proven track record of driving revenue growth allows him to adapt to any setting. His holistic approach to everything he does and his hands-on experience in developing leadership programs has equipped him with the insight needed to identify and nurture talent. As the founder of Renewed Scope Consulting, LLC, Anthony is dedicated to helping others get to their Next! 

Dr. Alan Mueller (he/him)

Dr. Alan Mueller is a passionate advocate for authentic transformation. He started Adaptive Challenge Consulting in 2014 to help organizations navigate their greatest challenges through listening and real conversations. Dr. Mueller has worked in finance, sales, higher education and even hospitality. Through his unique journey of failures and successes he has gained insight into organizational leadership and development. Dr. Mueller always brings authenticity and humor with him whether assisting organizations on their inclusion efforts or helping them evaluate their programs.
